ITINERARY
Day 1 - HANOI - ARRIVAL
Take the flight out of Australia to Vietnam.
– Airports available in Australia: Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane / Adelaide / Perth.
– Airlines: Depending on your departure date & departure airport (details will be provided upon confirmation of the booking)
Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport – in Hanoi. You will be met and transferred to a hotel in the downtown. Check in the hotel and spend the rest of the day on your own.
Note: Check-in time at the hotel – 14:00

Day 2 - HANOI - CITY TOUR
08.00 – 08.30: Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City
08.45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda, located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.
09.30: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh, then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda, where worship the Goddess of Mercy – It is the most unique pagoda in the world
11.15: Visit the Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of the 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam
Special Note: We will visit the Women’s Museum instead of the Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays
12.45: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine with 8 delicious dishes.
14.00 -14.15: Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century
15.15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum, which was originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the Hanoi Hilton
16.15 -16.30: Take a cyclo tour for sightseeing around the Old Quarter of Hanoi.

Day 3 - HANOI - HALONG BAY/ LAN HA BAY
In the morning, you will travel to Halong and arrive around noon. There, you will embark on a cruise in the must-see Lan Ha Bay, a part of Halong Bay. This world-famous bay is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Vietnam, with its giant rock islets covered in luxuriant vegetation overlooking the waters. Halong Bay includes some 1,900 islands and islets of rocky peaks, often uninhabited and unvisited. This scene creates a spectacular marine landscape, which earned it UNESCO World Heritage status in 1994. You will be served lunch and dinner on board.

Day 4 - HALONG BAY/ LAN HA BAY - HUE
Early in the morning and depending on the season, you will wake up to enjoy the sunrise over the aquamarine waters of the bay. Then the cruise will tour around the bay until you disembark at the end of the morning. After that, you will then travelling back to Ha Noi, we transfer you directly to the airport for the flight to Hue. Upon arrival, driver in Hue will pick you up and transfer you to hotel for check in. Rest of day is your free time.

Day 5 - HUE - CITY TOUR - HOI AN
Hue city tour. Get a boat trip to Thien Mu Pagoda. We then continue our visit at the Citadel & Hue Royal Antiques museum. Visit Dong Ba Market and have lunch at a nearby restaurant.
After lunch, visit the tomb of King “Minh Mang” and the Tomb of King “Khai Dinh”. Proceed with our tour at a nearby village where people make incense sticks and conical hats. After that, we transfer you to Hoi An. Check in hotel in Hoi An.

Day 6 - HOI AN - VISIT MY SON SANCTUARY
Morning breakfast at hotel. Today, we start the tour by visiting My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Afternoon, visit Hoi An town on foot: Hoi An’s Colorful Local Market, Old House of Tan Ky, Fu Jian Assembly Hall, and the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge.

Day 8 - HOI AN - HO CHI MINH
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy your leisure in Hoi An until we transfer you to the airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival, our driver in Ho Chi Minh picks you up and transfers you to the hotel.
The rest of the day is your leisure time to discover the city on your own.’

Day 9 - HO CHI MINH: CITY TOUR & CU CHI TUNNEL
Morning, we explore the Re-Unification Palace, which was the home and workplace of the president of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War, and played a pivotal role in the war’s end. Visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, a stunning example of French colonial architecture, and learn about its unique history. Continue your tour at the War Remnants Museum, which provides a thought-provoking look into the harsh realities of the Vietnam War.
Afternoon, we leave the city and drive 60km to Cu Chi, where you can delve into the intricate system of tunnels and explore the Cu Chi Tunnel, an impressive feat of engineering that played a significant role in the Vietnam War. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war). Once the tour is complete, we will make our way back to the city.

Day 10 - HO CHI MINH - MEKONG DELTA
Following breakfast at the hotel, we will depart from Ho Chi Minh and head towards Ben Tre. Our journey will include a boat trip along the Mekong River, during which we will visit a family-run business that exemplifies the idyllic rural lifestyle. We will also have the opportunity to stroll through the fruit plantation village. Finally, we return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 11 - THAILAND: HO CHI MINH - PHUKET
Morning, we will transfer you to the airport for a flight to Phuket.

Morning, pick up from your hotel. Around 9:00 am, have some coffee and tea at the pier before departure.
At 9:30 am, depart from the pier and reach the Maya Bay around 10.30.
Have sightseeing around Maya Bay and Loh Samah Bay. After that, visit Pileh Lagoon for snorkeling and swimming.
Lunch and relax at Andaman Beach.
At 2:45 pm, we leave Phi Phi Island to go to Monkey Beach. Spend your leisure time at Monkey Beach before going back to the Phuket pier at 4.00pm.
Drop you back at your hotel.

Day 13 - PHUKET - LEISURE

Day 15 - BANGKOK - KANCHANABURI & RIVER KWAI
06.00 – Pick up from major hotels in Bangkok downtown area. Depart for Kanchanaburi province (128 k. to the west of Bangkok)
Arrive in Kanchanaburi province. Visit Thailand–Burma Railway Centre, an interactive museum, information
and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand– Burma Railway. The fully
air–air-conditioned center offers the visitor an educational and moving experience.
Visit Allied War Cemetery, which is a memorial to some 6000 Allied prisoners of war (POWs) who perished along the death railway line and were moved post-war to this eternal resting place.
Visit the world-famous Bridge over the River Kwai, a part of the Death Railway constructed by Allied POWs.
11.40 – Lunch at a local restaurant. Take a historic ride on the Death Railway Train passing over the original
wooden viaduct constructed by Allied POWs.
Journey back to Bangkok.
Arrive at Bangkok and transfer to the hotel.
